Course Description:

The purpose of this class is to provide instructions for installing and maintaining a Niagara 4 site using the most efficient and useable data modeling standards in Niagara 4.  This course describes the current procedures for the Niagara 4 software migration, how to create Niagara 4 station databases.

Best Practices: At the end of this class, the student will have actually started and completed a project using a JACE and the AX/N4 operating systems.  The student will migrate existing AX stations to N4 Then convert the jace to n4, set up licensing, add the appropriate network drivers and Jar files. To the extent possible, this class will mirror the actual steps a student will take in the field to develop any existing project.
Pre-Requisites:

Each student must be Niagara 4 Certified and have a laptop running Vykon WorkPlace Verison 4.3 and the most recent AX 3,8
