Continuing Education Units:

Continuing Education Units will be awarded to those students that attend this training class in its entirety and pass the certification test with a score of 80%. Yaskawa does not provide partial CEU credits for less than 100% attendance. The certification class includes an exam at the end of the class, and if passed the participant is a certified Yaskawa Startup Technician. This provides an opportunity for a one year extension to the Yaskawa warranty if the certified startup technician performs and properly documents the startup.

The Yaskawa training class addresses specific issues of the students. Each student is asked about their drive experience, the drive applications found in their plant, and what they want to learn about drives. Once the students' training needs are determined, a course outline is created.
